Wow, it’s been
so long since my last post on my blog. Every time I feel like I want to post or
write something it only goes as far as an intention (same as my intention to
write thesis proposal.#eh), well, at least it is a good intention right? Lol. So
here I am, going back from cinema and my dinner and the rain is still falling
down but I choose to sit here at LPSI, don’t want to put off my intention to
write some posts here. I wish it would
worth your time to read this post.
So this week and
a week ahead is a final exam for Information Systems students at ITS and
generally and actually I should be studying or doing my proposal, instead of
watching movies. But back then still I watched two movies today, Gone Girl and
P.K. One of my friend, Rima, told me to tell her my impression about Gone Girl
soon when I finished watching that movie she copied and told me to watch. And I
can help writing any post about those two movies I recently watched because it
is beyond good dude. Each of the film left some moral messages to me. I might
be not a good movie reviewer and the reviewer of these two movies have been
written by many people. So I might only write what I feel after watching these
two movies. So for this post I will write a review for Gone Girl.
Got 8.3 points
at IMDB rating is suitable enough to describe how amazing this movie is. I know
IMDB rating may be subjective but getting that point for the average people’s
sight could describe how this movie succeed to win people heart. Directed by
David Fincher and written by duo Flynn also starred by so many big stars like
Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike, and Neil Patrick Harris, this movie has blown my
mind for a moment.
Have you ever
imagined how your life would be after marriage? The person you have known for
some time might be so much different after you and him/her living together. Could
you imagine that your spouse might turn out to be someone real different? And realizing
that you should spend the rest of your life with him/her.
At their 5th
anniversary of marriage, Amy Dunne has prepared a special gift to her husband. Instead
of finding his wife and her gift, Nick lost his wife exactly on their
anniversary. Detective and cops have to
do an investigation to their house and interview Nick for some personal stuffs
about their marriage life. After many investigation processes, the missing wife
case suspicion directed to Nick, her own husband. It even turns out to be
murder case.
Thrilled by the
evidences that he never realized and the incrimination of people around him, he
hire a lawyer and many truths revealed about their marriage life. Nick turned
out to have an affair with his teenage student and not enjoyed his marriage life.
Losing job, money and his mom passed away made their marriage life getting
worse and worse. So, at their 5th Anniversary. Amy intended to give
him special gift, a treasure that he has to find after solving some clues. But unfortunately
she went missing and her husband is suspected to be her killer.
You should watch
this film to know that everyone could change and how important to be honest to
our partner and how marriage life could be. There is no ideal condition but I
believe we could make an ideal condition itself. You don’t want to marry
someone that only pretend to be good, right?
Nick Dunne: Yes, I loved you and then all we did was resent each other, try to control each other. We caused each other pain.Amy Dunne: That's marriage.
ps: I am eager to read the novel, anyone please? :(
